Feedbackbulb has been updated with a new app icon and release notes

Just a quick update, this week we released an update that introduces our new app icon for the main Feedbackbulb interface. You will soon notice the change propagating for both the web favicon as well as PWA/pinned tabs.

As part of this update, we implemented some internal tooling in order to make it easier to share the release notes (changelog) for all Feedbackbulb components. It is now publicly available here. While we can't (yet) publish all changes for all versions, we're trying to make this as transparent as possible.

For example, v3.1.9 includes:

  • Feature: The Feedbackbulb icon has been updated or our new branding style.
  • Feature: Feedbackbulb's version number is now clearly indicated in the footer of the website.
  • Maintenance: Upgrade dependencies including migration to the latest version Phoenix LiveView.
  • Maintenance: Fixed an issue where some validation messages are not shown when changing one's username or password.
  • Docs: Update landing page copy

Since the version numbers are now public, we're also going to adopt a more strict approach to semantic versioning. The breaking version compatibility will be evaluated based on changes in our REST API signatures as well as the API of our libraries.

One of our main goals for Q4 this year is to align versioning across all of our integrations and libraries. This means that when we say v3.2.0, you will be able to find that same version whether you're looking at Feedbackbulb's iOS SDK, Kotlin Multiplatform SDK, or any other integration.
